This agreement is entered into between HiroMelody, with its registered address at 39 Nancy St, Cheltenham, Victoria 3192, and the esteemed Piano Instructor,

Nature of the Relationship:

There exists an independent contractor relationship between the parties involved. Both parties fully acknowledge and concur that the Piano Instructor operates as an independent contractor, absolving HiroMelody from any legal obligations as an employer. The Instructor assumes full responsibility for their own taxes, superannuation, as well as insurance coverage, including public liability insurance and work cover.

Nature of the Job:

Lessons will be conducted at the physical premises of HiroMelody, conveniently located at 39 Nancy Street, Cheltenham, Victoria, 3192. The lessons will be scheduled during the Victoria School Term, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, from Monday to Saturday.

Temporary Unavailability / Termination of Instructor:

In instances where the Instructor is unable to fulfil a scheduled lesson due to illness, injury, or travel commitments, it is imperative that they provide timely notification to the client/clients. The Instructor should then coordinate alternative lessons with instructors within HiroMelody, in consultation with the client/clients. Should the Instructor wish to terminate the contract, written notice must be provided four weeks in advance.

Payment:

The payment rates are based on the prevailing profit share arrangement, which currently stands at 65% / 35% and is structured as follows:

– $21.50 for a 30-minute lesson
– $32 for a 45-minute lesson
– $42.50 for a 60-minute lesson

If the instructor teaches online while the student is at HiroMelody or sourced via HiroMelody, the profit share arrangement shall follow the standard agreement of 65% for the Instructor and 35% for HiroMelody.

If the instructor brings their own student, the profit share shall be 75% for the Instructor and 25% for HiroMelody.

HiroMelody will facilitate fortnightly electronic transfers to the nominated bank account of the Instructor. The payment structure will be subject to review on a financial year basis for any necessary adjustments.

By signing this agreement, I, on behalf of the esteemed Piano Instructor, declare that I have read, fully understood, and hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined within.
